Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya, however, turned the South Delhi Superstarz vs. North Delhi Strikers game into a runfest, rewriting history with their blitzkrieg. Together, they scored an incredible 286 runs, which topped the rankings for the greatest partnership in T20 cricket history. It was also the most amount of maximums ever recorded in an innings in a Twenty20 competition, with the pair hitting 29 sixes between them and the team totaling 31 sixes. With 19 maximums, Badoni contributed the most to the team’s total of sixes.
However, it isn’t the case. When Badoni and Arya played against the North Delhi Strikers, they smashed a number of T20 cricket records.
Highest T20 Partnership: In the history of Twenty20 cricket, Priyansh Arya and Ayush Badoni’s partnership of 286 runs is the greatest ever achieved by any couple.
Maximum Sixes in a Single T20 Inning: Ayush Badoni struck 19 sixes in one inning, shattering Chris Gayle’s record. Gayle struck an undefeated 146 in the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League season, hitting a total of eighteen sixes.

Most Sixes in an Over Hit by a Batter: In T20 cricket, Priyansh Arya became just the second Indian player to have hit six sixes in an over, matching the mark set by Yuvraj Singh of India. Both Nicholas Pooran and Kieron Pollard have struck six sixes in a single over while playing internationally.
Most Sixes Hit in a Single T20 Match: The South Delhi Superstarz team broke the previous record of 26 sixes held by Nepal with a total of 31 sixes.
Second-Highest Total in T20 Cricket History: South Delhi Superstarz finished in second place, only behind Nepal’s 314/3 versus Mongolia in the Asian Games 2023, and narrowly missed setting the record for the highest team total in T20 cricket.
